Grants:

Applications are due Monday, October 31 for the District 58 Education Foundation’s 2011 mini- and maxi grants for curriculum enrichment, technology innovation, and staff development.
All District 58 staff members are encouraged to apply for Mini Grants ($500 or less), and/or Maxi Grants ($500 or more). Staff may apply for only one grant of each type.

October 31, 2011--Applications due to Jennie Waldorf at the District 58 Administrative Service Center

December 2011--Award recipients notified

January 2012--Funds provided to district and available to award recipients

January 2012--All recipients share information about projects/purchases during Board of Education meeting

June 1, 2012--Unused funds returned to the Foundation, financial report due to the Foundation, including a copy of the receipts

June 15, 2011--Project summary, including measurable results, due to Foundation

The application form also is available on the District 58 intranet and Employee Exchange. Seven printed copies of the completed applications must be sent by the deadline to the ASC to the attention of Jennifer Waldorf. Questions can be directed to jwaldorf@dg58.org/(630) 719-5805

Distinguished Service Award:

Nomination forms for the Education Foundation's Distinguished Service Awards, which recognize District 58 staff members for going above and beyond in making students' educational experience the best it can be, will be available after the winter holidays.
